Rolf "Rock Hard" Wessel first learned to play the saxophone, switching to guitar at age 13. He has been an avid guitarist ever since recording original music in his home studio and starting a collection of vintage electric guitars.

From 2006 to 2010 Rolf played with classic rock cover band "Thick Aza Brick." His wide range of influence from Jerry Garcia to James Burton to Jimmy Page, has helped him develop an ability to create unique licks to help liven up every song.
